Democracy has spoken and it seems everyone voted as follows for the hypothetical Oppo Community car:

USA wins with 21 votes

8 cylinders wins with 20 votes

RWD wins with 30 votes

Manuel wins with 32 votes

Coupe wins with 20 votes wagon close with 13 (only on Oppo)

And tie for price either $2,500 or $10,000 both with 7 votes.

Therefore since I am personally leaning towards $2,500 that would be 8 to 7 on price and that means we would be searching the web for something like !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to buy.

I am flabbergasted that the majority basically voted for a Fox Body or SN95 Mustang. I was expecting the Miata formula to get more votes.

Maybe it’s the trust factor. There’d also be the slightly trickier matter of insurance. Somebody halfway across the country you’ve never even met totals somebody else’s car—or terribly injures somebody—with a car in your name? That’s a lot of potential liability. I’m not sure if there’s a way to work around it, but I know that’s something I’d be worried about if it was my name on the title. It does sound super awesome though. I’m imagining it traveling around the country, people taking pictures with it, getting some sweet Oppo livery on there, auto crossing it, all sorts of cool things.

What about an oppo lemons car? We wouldn't have to register it, so that's no legal hassle, we could ship it around the country to take part in lemons races, could bring opponauts together at the races, and could have a sick oppo livery. Plus with some of the more mechanically talented on here we could build it for around the price of a fox body.

Now that sounds like a pretty cool idea. Maybe make your own post about it. We would need like a town hall meeting to decide if that is a good idea. This idea is kinda in limbo. Some people like it but the legal hassle is killing it
